UI Design
As sustainability becomes an increasingly important consideration for consumers, there is a growing concern about greenwashing - the practice of misleading consumers by making false or exaggerated claims about the environmental benefits of products or services. This project aims to create a webpage that informs and raises awareness among consumers about greenwashing, while also providing information on the environmental impacts of so-called "clean" brands. The webpage should be accessible on both desktop and mobile devices.
OVERVIEW
In this project, I was provided an opportunity to apply various design principles and techniques to effectively communicate complex information and engage users on the topic of greenwashing and the impact of "clean" brands on the environment. Throughout the project, I learned the importance of visually appealing and user-friendly design to enhance the effectiveness of the website. This involved creating a visually cohesive and engaging interface that balanced aesthetics with functionality.
Additionally, the responsive design aspect was crucial in ensuring a seamless user experience across various devices. Adapting the layout and content to fit different screen sizes contributed to a positive user experience, regardless of whether users accessed the website through desktop or mobile devices.
The website's design choices and features aimed to not only capture users' attention but also to empower them to make informed choices and contribute to a more sustainable future.
