Prototyping
Over the course of eight weeks, I served as a Design Lead for GreenSight through Cal Poly Iter8, where I guided the end-to-end redesign of their Quoting Tool platform. Following the project, I continued working with GreenSight alongside Sophia Levin (my co!) to design their Scan-for-Value mobile app during the summer, expanding on our previous work to create a cohesive product ecosystem.
What is GreenSight?
GreenSight is an AI-powered tech company offering electronic device quoting and management tools to scan, price, and resell used electronics, supporting a more sustainable resale market.

Project Goals
Quoting Tool
(Web Platform Redesign)
Build a design system flexible enough to scale with GreenSight’s product suite
Scan-for-Value
(Mobile App Design)
Support both desktop web and mobile-first use cases
Current Design - New Quote Flow
Many parts of the flow looked identical, and every action resulted in a pop-up which could potentially be confusing and unintuitive for users.

Step 3 – Editing Device Information
Defining our problem
GreenSight tasked us to redesign their quoting platform to look and feel more modern, sleek, and technologically advanced. The goal is to move away from a plain, internal-tool aesthetic to a visually impressive, user-friendly experience that appeals to both internal and external users.
New Quote Flow
One of the main problems I kept running into while looking at the quote flow was how clunky and back-and-forth it felt. Every time a user needed to add a new item or set a price, they had to leave the main table, open another screen, and then come back again. It felt repetitive and disruptive, especially since quoting is all about speed and accuracy.

I introduced the idea of a sidebar being implemented into the flow, which simplified the process by:
Reducing repetitive clicks and page transitions.
Letting users stay anchored in the quote table.
Creating a smoother, more intentional rhythm in the workflow.
Refreshed Design System
Reimagined GreenSight's original branding to look more aesthetically pleasing while still being flexible enough to scale with GreenSight’s future product suite

Set Pricing
Added an expandable side bar for the pricing that allows users to view both the device list while comparing prices pulled from various online marketplaces instead of having to go back and forth

Review Quote
Final step in completing a quote, including last minute editing capabilities and a PDF preview
