OVERVIEW
Web Media Marketing Coordinators (WMM) are in charge of all the photography, graphic design, and videography needs of the club. As one of the Web, Media, Marketing Coordinators, I was tasked to design the club’s Instagram feed which is where the club primarily announced their important announcements and updates to the club members.
Looking back, I realize that I could’ve improved on my use of contrast for the posts regarding that the information could be difficult to read, however, we also included the information post in the caption.

✳ IN THIS PROJECT I WAS TASKED TO
lead a team to create event collateral and promote PCN
Every year, PCE puts on a production called Pilipino Cultural Night (PCN) to celebrate and showcase Pilipino culture and history.
The production is comprised of traditional Pilipino dance suites, modern dances, choral performances, and script-based skits or plays. PCN allows Filipinx-Americans and the greater community to be immersed in the richness of Pilipino culture through a unique expressive art form that has become a longstanding annual tradition.

FINAL MERCHANDISE DESIGN
As a Web, Media, Marketing Coordinator for PCE, the goal of this project was to create a variety of promotional material for the show including merchandise, programs, and social media content.
I started off with digital comps of potential sweatshirt designs based off of the elements from the program.
Here are the finalized designs for the sweatshirts

TAKEAWAYS
special thanks to Cal Poly’s Pilipino Cultural Exchange
Looking back at my time as the designer for Cal Poly's Pilipino Cultural Exchange (PCE), I can't help but feel a mix of pride and nostalgia. This organization isn't just a bullet point on my resume—it's where I found my footing both as a designer and as a person. since it was the first organization I joined in college and where I earned my first design position.
What really made PCE special was the community. At a predominantly white institution, finding a group that felt like home was everything. Every successful event and every proud smile in the audience reinforced my passion for design and my love for my culture.
In the end, this organization has a special place in my heart. It brought me closer to my roots, gave me a second family, and fueled my confidence in my design skills. PCE will always be a special chapter in my story, filled with so much growth!
Before our tinikling performance for pcn!
